Chiflika Chukurovo offers its young visitors a perfect opportunity to spend several hours in the authentic atmosphere of Bulgarian village, to play at large in the clean open air amongst beautiful nature and to learn a thing or two about the way and means of living of our ancestors.

The adventures “Countryside Larks”, “Visit in the countryside”, “In the countryside” are prepared especially for children at different age and separately they include a walk around Chiflika accompanied by a nice talk, a treat or a lunch, a ride on a donkey cart or riding, folk dances school, preparation of Bulgarian banitsa, dressing in national costumes and funny games. These amusements are very suitable for children in kinder gardens and pupils.

          Larks ...

The Landowner befriends the little ones as well. He has provided quite a merry experience for them – unusual amusements and lots of surprises during their visit in the countryside. Children can spend several hours in the fresh air and run at large in the green meadows.
Children are welcomed in the “Chashkata” locality. They are drawn into a little miracle – they think of something and tie a red thread in order their wish to come true.
Later on, the bus sets off to the village of “Prilep” where the ethnographic complex “Chiflika Chukurovo” is located.
They are once again welcomed with bread and salt as the old tradition ordains. They observe the ethnographic collection and museum exhibits, get acquainted with the way of life in the Bulgarian village. Some activities are demonstrated to them in relation to the lifestyle of the old Bulgarians.
Cradles in front of Chiflika offer a perfect way of amusement. In close proximity is “Yurta” locality where the farm yard is. Children can play with the animals, feed them, pet them and take pictures with them as a souvenir. The most lovable donkey in Bulgaria: Mara, expects them, to take them for a walk on the cart.
Lunch is served in the tavern. With the help of animators they learn how to prepare Dobrudzha region banitsa, learn to dance the Bulgarian folk dance “horo” and enter a jolly surprise-competition.
